LASIK Surgery Costs - Flex Plans
A Flex Plan (FP) or a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a benefit package option offered by employers that provides their employees with flexibility and choice on health care spending including laser vision correction.
Due to IRS regulations, excess amounts in an FP or FSA are not carried over from one plan year to another. If the amount you have elected to fund your FP or FSA exceeds your actual health care expenses, the remaining funds will be forfeit.
Because of this, Flex Plan funds are an ideal way to attain great vision. Your remaining, tax-free dollars can be used rather than forfeited.
